It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mare MIZ VOGUE VA – perhaps one of Hennessey’s dearest members of the family. From the show ring in which she excelled with a distinguished sparkle including many time United States National Top Tens in Country Pleasure Driving, a Reserve Scottsdale Championship, and numerous Regional Championships as well.
Most notably was her remarkable performance, and subsequent victory pass, with Mr. Frank Hennessey at the whip as he and Miz Vogue VA were named 2013 Scottsdale Reserve Champions in Country Pleasure Driving AOTD. Miz Vogue’s breeder Victoria Arabians, as well as her trainer Mary Trowbridge, wove together a beautiful family connecting so many wonderful people, making so many wonderful memories.
Miz Vogue VA’s contribution to the Hennessey Arabians breeding program were plentiful – as what could be predicted by her pedigree. A daughter of Triften and out of Miz Margeaux V (a full sister to Hucklebey Berry), it was Miz Vogue’s two daughters H Miz Vivacious H and H Miz Vanity H – both bred by Hennessey Arabians and sired by H Mobility H – who brought the farm, and her strength as a breeding mare to reflect our vision – beautiful, talented, and trainable athletes. Her ability as a breeding mare was so impressive she attracted the attention of other breeders who also utilized her genetic prowess to breed into their programs as well.
Miz Vogue VA is survived by her daughter H Miz Vanity H and grandson H Vanquish H (by Fire And Goldd).
